Automation of coke-oven machines (positioning)

2021: JSC Yuzhcoke (Ukraine), Coke Shop:

Automation of the existing coke-oven machines complete with additional equipment of the monitoring system that does not interfere with their operation and does not affect them.
The system is based on the RTK GNSS precise positioning technology that ensures unprecedented positioning accuracy of coke-oven machines ± 20 mm + 1 ppm in plane.

Thanks to that, the system continuously controls the position of all mechanisms and automatically detects their location near chambers. The system is based on Siemens S7 1200 PLC. Such approach makes it possible to further develop the system both in terms of the monitoring signal expansion and the lockout and equipment control systems.
