Complete re-bricking of 13 heating walls at coke-oven battery # 2
Scope of works:
- Dismantling of refractory brickwork along the entire length of the coking chamber (32 flues).
- Dismantling of refractory brickwork to the level of bricks on the reinforced concrete plate to a depth of four flues.
- Erection works: replacement of buckstays, armour plates and reinforcement elements; replacement of gas offtake and gas supply valves and fittings; and adjustment of reinforcement elements.
- Heating up and commissioning of ovens.
